As a Christian, I've always been identified as the above mentioned ”labels” that everyone in school gives me. But to tell you the truth, I am not that holy. I am not innocent. I am not always kind.

Yes, I make mistakes especially when it comes to making my parents worry about where am I going (independent living probs), having fights with people when your ego takes over, my faith is sometimes compromised by the field of my course, sometimes temptation gets the best of me and the list goes on. But for the most parts, people ask me how did I turn away and have self-control. My secret in keeping my life on track and staying optimistic is my daily walk with the Lord. I have the knowledge about every temptation the world has to offer but it always comes down to my choice and how I respond to it.
Christianity is not about living the perfect life. It is about having a righteous life glorifying His name alone.
Without His guidance, I wouldn't be so grateful for all the blessings and hardships I've experienced throughout my college life especially growing up in a Christian environment.
I've been doing my spiritual journal ever since I was five years old. It was compulsory back then para hindi magalit sa akin si Mima. But now when I wake up in the morning, I get excited about what is God's message for me that day and it is always on point. Thank you, Mima for leading me to God. My Bible is an instruction manual.
My Spiritual Journal is a book of my life.
My love for the Lord is my strength.
This is what I am proud of. The opportunities and achievements are just a bonus.
”I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” (Romans 8:18)
Remain faithful to Him today, and your reward in heaven will be beyond comparison. I have many testimonies to tell about my college journey pero eto muna for now.
I will never be ashamed of my faith in God. So, always remember to set your minds on things above, not on this earth.
Thank you, Lord for being my JUDGE and REFUGE.
